COVID-19 policy

Rhino Products Group Covid-19 policy

The Rhino Products Group have ensured that throughout the continued Coronavirus pandemic, we have worked tirelessly to protect both our employees, as well as those who visit our multiple sites during this time. To help us do this, we are working in accordance with the advice given by the World Health Organisation and public health agencies.

Staff safety measures

We have put a number of measures in place for our staff, as well as any external visitors to our offices and factories, for the foreseeable future. We operate a strict social distancing policy and have rearranged both our factory and office spaces in order to ensure all staff members are a minimum of 2 metres apart. We have also enhanced cleaning throughout all buildings, with a focus on communal areas, as well as door handles, light switches and any other items that are commonly used.

PPE has been given to all factory staff and employees are expected to use the hand sanitisers provided throughout the building regularly, as well as before entering and leaving our canteen area. We have also implemented clear rules throughout our canteen and breakout spaces of only one employee per table to minimise any contact throughout the working day.

All Rhino and AVS staff members have undertaken online courses in social distancing and how to remain safe in the workplace, via our online learning portal – documents and courses are regularly updated on this portal, with staff expected to remain up to date with any new documents.

External visitor safety measures

External visitors to our sites have been limited as much as possible, with most meetings now taking place remotely. For the few visitors that do enter our buildings during this time, we have hygiene stations and PPE available, with signage clearly in all factory and office areas.

Prior to any visitor arrivals, guests will be expected to fill out our Covid-19 checklist form, that will be provided by the Rhino/AVS point of contact. This checklist will require all visitors to provide personal contact details, as well as filling out a questionnaire to identify your company coronavirus policy and a declaration that no external visitors have Covid-19 symptoms.

We will continue to change and adapt this policy as the situation evolves further and we encourage visitors to contact us with any questions they may have prior to visiting our site. We treat the safety of visitors and staff as an upmost priority and will not tolerate any compromise of safety while on our sites. We appreciate all visitors cooperation during this time.
